Would you enjoy preparing a meal for recovering residents? Maybe leading a game of bingo? Then this is the place for you! Pathways to Care is a partner organization with Northland that provides short-term recuperative care and support services for homeless adults recently discharged from the hospital but still in need of temporary housing in order to recover from an acute medical illness or injury. Serve up to 15 residents lunch and snacks. Also, there will be plenty of opportunities to minister and pray with the residents. Participating in this serve project includes preparing,serving lunch and clean up for residents. Sign up now and show God's love through action! All supplies and equipment provided, group leader on site. All that is needed is a willing heart! Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Engaged, not engaged but seriously considering engagement, or married without the benefit of premarital counseling? This is the course for you!
Class topics range from the foundational to the practical aspects of marriage. During the course, we explore why marriages fail and look at God's design, plan, purposes and power for the marriage covenant. We will help confirm the direction of your relationship and discuss individual roles and responsibilities. We have sessions devoted to communication, conflict resolution, finances, keeping love alive, relating to in-laws and blending families.
One of the more significant features of this course is the relationships couples develop with mentoring couples and other participants. We have a wonderful group of mentors with many years of marriage and experience in mentoring others. We also employ various assessment tools that help couples understand themselves and each other.
Cost: $120 per couple.

What is the church distributed? According to Dr. Joel C. Hunter, it's a way for us to make the most of our differences, connecting individuals and organizations together for long-term support and effectiveness without trying to blur our distinctions. It is not another church-growth strategy. Instead, it is a connecting strategy that results in spiritual growth. Virtually any Christian or any church in any denomination can employ the strategy outlined in this book. It even works in tandem with a church's growth plans. Not only will a church get bigger, it will get better! The church will become more deeply connected to God and His people. And together, the church will accomplish more because of its differences than it ever could on its own.
